How in the world do people do it and why? Do we get faction/xp by accepting missions and not completing them? How does one keep hitting Y? Don't you get booted for being inactive? I don't have any plans on doing it...just curious. Are there scripts involved or are people just simply putting something on there keyboard to push Y? I know we get xp for losing missions when we have opposition just never let a mission lose when not opposed. |

the most common means is like with any variation on the looping macro theme. G15 keyboard, autohotkey program, etc. Send 'Y', wait 500ms, loop. Keeps you from going afk since APB is receiving 'input' from the user.. user's computer anyway 
It should probably also be a lynching offense.

ah ok..gotcha...i do have a g15 keyboard...just never bothered with the gkeys....but do we get rep/faction whatever for losing matches? seems a little absurd if you don't even try |

I never did it AFK, but I would be returning cars while not participating in the missions. I did it over a few days a couple weeks ago. The $ was nice, $10k/hour and the contact/org standing was a nice bonus. It's still much more fun to play in a group though and gave that up.
As of know though, I don't know how your expected to be able to return 5000+ cars while you're getting APB'd all the time. Unfortuntelt the not participating in the missions thing also protects you from APB's. It seems like thet'll fix this in the future though and let you toggle a flag that won't let you get auto-apb'd possibly.

I make it a point to hunt them down and TK their asses, or if part of the opposition I go for the easy kill. Either way, they're getting to hear my death theme. |

Someone in the APB forums had a great ideal for the AFK macro'ers that keep spamming the 'Y' key to accept missions.
Send them a group invite which they'll accept because they're spamming Y. Then transfer your group to Social and kick him out. Return to action again and you won't have a chance of him being on your team again.

Love tea bagging them. I love running into their body, kicking them with my feet, and spraying my gun at them. Too bad that shortly after they die they can't see you doing that though. You can mutilate their dead bodies for a solid 10-15 seconds after they die.
...LOL only if you could necro-rape their bodies while they watch and are powerless to stop it after dying. If you could do that, THEN this game would have EVERYTHING
