I'll second that bit about the grinding. I officially 'capped out' yesterday. 40/40 with both factions.. yet I still find myself still playing criminal and helping others.. I must be crazy

Some people say it gives you something to do, but it's more like being strung along. They say it's supposed to be a skill based shooter, but it's been a very unfair so far. It almost seems like the luck of the draw. Either you're out gunned or your opinions are. It's rare when you're in an even match.
Once everyone hits 40/40 then what? Choose your weapon and duel to the death

I really want to play Mafia II but i don't have the money yet to get it :/ looks like a great game. Might settle for The Godfather II till then. Great game as well. |

I'm a sad panda... capped out and I can't even get a cool weapon, lol. 40/40 and only have 590k. Only way to grind cash now is to steals cars or ram raid, since missions shaft you once you're capped. With the 'free money' from fashionista/tuner gone, I doubt I will ever be able to afford the 1Mil weapons I unlocked, or the 2Mil 4-slot Bishada either. RTW Really screwed the pooch when it comes to 'end game.'

Really? You must of spent a lot of money.. I bought a 120K vegas, bunch of weapons and upgrades and I have 750K being only level 35 BR and level 27 Gkings.. I'll have my OCA 3 slot  You'll have to farm cars like crazy.. it does give you some decent cash flow.
I made money off the market while it was hot though.. The market is worth shit now.

Well. I can tell you where most of my money went, lol. 400k for a 2 slot bishada +40k for the mods. 600k or 800k, I forget for a 3-slot minivan + 60k for the mods. another 200-300k to my enforcer alt for a jericho to replace that POS morai pre-order car and some guns, both the evil NL9 LTL and some regular guns

I've been too stingy to buy a car yet...well a 'real' car because I know I'll have to drop at least 1/2 a million into it. I'm still saving for 3-slot weapons and upgrades.
Probably the biggest thing I've bough is upgrades off the market for my n-tec and obeya 2-slotters way before I could buy them myself from a vendor. That and character upgrades before I could buy them from a vendor.

By way of comparison, Im still saving up for a level II "energizer" character upgrade, to put in my one and only character upgrade slot, and for which im still a couple R points away from being able to use...
Energizer II, because I am still forever gettting pwnned by those damned long range stunners.
Ripping the guts out of the N9 cant happen fast enough for me. Alas, the 'forcers got one more to use.... |

Energizer is going to be a great upgrade as soon as they reveal the fourth character slot and when monolith and survivor cant be put together. As for the Nl9 i can't wait till the 1.3.1 patch |

they're going to change the way upgrades will be used because it seems as if everyone has both survivor and monolith on them and spray and pray and savage on their gun. So they are going to make it so certain upgrades won't work together and you will have to choose, they hope this will encourage the use of other mods on characters and weapons.
I'm pretty sure its coming out in the upcoming patches but the admins have been talking about it on the forums, they are trying to figure out what to do with the upgrades already attached.

You earned it, you earned it. Oh well. All someone has to do is get it themselves. No big deal. I was talking in social and someone calculated that APB lost 40% of the gamers who bought the game already. That is a huge loss. If they don't do something to keep people playing it will die... or linger on with a few people still playing. They should have made it with dedicated server support instead of pay to play... They should of made it so that one character can play on either criminal and enforcer sides with rotating matches.
They were really stupid about the whole thing and I still play it and enjoy it, but if I miss a game here and there no big deal for me...

Yep, I agree with you.
I am giving the game till the content patch(I believe is in another 2 months), but after that, if things have not improved, and the content does not satisfy me, then I probably will not be playing that often. I mean, I believe we have to wait till the content patch to even get our 4th character slot, which sux cause that means I wont have my box for another two months.
